Understanding "taste" in AI prompts is key. Each level below builds on the previous, adding nuance, restraint, and human-like sensibility. Here's a peek at what you'll learn to master in my live sessions.
Prompt Objective:
Design a landing page for a premium skincare brand targeting women 30–50.
Level 1: Basic / Beginner
The Prompt:
Design a skincare landing page with a clean layout, white background, product photos, and a ‘Buy Now’ button.
Key Characteristics:
- Functionally correct, but basic.
- Zero style or brand direction.
- Vague, leading to default outputs.
Expected Output Feel:
Generic Shopify template.
Level 2: Amateur With Aesthetic Words
The Prompt:
Design a minimal, elegant skincare landing page with soft colors and a luxurious feel.
Key Characteristics:
- Adds emotional descriptors.
- Still vague; terms like 'minimal', 'elegant' are subjective.
- No system-level direction.
Expected Output Feel:
Pretty but potentially cliché (beige, serif, wide hero).
Level 3: Intermediate Prompt
The Prompt:
Create a skincare landing page using an 8-column grid, soft blush and beige tones, custom serif for headlines (like Canela), and muted product imagery on white. Prioritize whitespace and emotional copy. CTA should be a single muted tone—not high contrast.
Key Characteristics:
- Introduces layout system (grid).
- Specifies type guidance & color logic.
- Shows restraint (e.g., muted CTA).
Expected Output Feel:

Level 4: Advanced Prompt
The Prompt:
Design a skincare landing page that evokes trust, calm, and precision—like a cross between a medical journal and an art book. Use a modular 8pt spacing system, optical kerning, and typographic hierarchy with Canela for H1s and Söhne for body. Layout should breathe, never touching edges. Hero should feature product in negative space with a poetic subheadline—not a sales hook.
Key Characteristics:
- Ties emotional feel to concrete visual rules.
- Specifies real fonts, grids, and tone-matching language.

Level 5: Master-Level Prompt
The Prompt:
